Mahidol University’s annual Exemplary Teacher award recognizes top lecturers who are effectively role models for other teachers.

Nominees must exhibit exemplary virtues, including morality and ethics, outstanding knowledge and understanding, innovative teaching methods, integrated disciplines, as well as curriculum development, organizational skills and more. Nominees must also have at least five years of lecturing experience.

MU’s Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies is honored to announce that our own Assistant Professor Dr. Jongdee To-im won First Runner-Up for the university-wide award.

The performance evaluation committee also recognized three other winners: Preecha Mantakanthikul (Faculty of Pharmacy); Worawan Kittipat (Faculty of Pharmacy); Wanna Sirimanaphong (Faculty of Veterinary Science). The announcement was made 27 December 2024.

Dr. Jongdee has an educational background in nursing, I.T. and science and technology education, and she has published research on integrated environmental learning for secondary students, ways to encourage Thai grade 8 students’ science learning, sustainable learning modules, aquatic ecosystems, climate change, and more.
