Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University would like to announce admission for the Bachelor of Science Program in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (International Program) by direct admission (round 2) for academic year 2020. The details are as follows.

  1. Available places: 50 students
  2. Qualification of Applicants
    2.1 Academic Qualification: graduated from, or currently studying in Matthayom 6 or Grade 12 (US system) or Year 13 (UK system) (International High School).
    2.2 Program of Study:
    • Ordinary program students must have taken Mathematics – Science program or have taken foundation and additional courses from the following subject areas for international program students:
       1. Science: ≥ 20 credits
       2. Mathematics: ≥ 9 credits
       3. Foreign Language: ≥ 9 credits
    2.3 Applicants must not have confirmed admission in TCAS or be eligible for academic year 2020 admission in any institutions.
  3. GPAX: not specified
  4. Application Documents Required
    4.1 A copy of a transcript showing a minimum of 4 semesters (for 2 semesters/academic year educational system) or 6 semesters (for 3 semesters/academic year educational system).
    4.2 A copy of diploma or a letter of degree verification from accredited educational institution by the Ministry of Education (for applicants who graduated or passed the General Education Development only).
    4.3 A copy of an identification card and a house registration (for Thai applicants) or a copy of a passport showing date of birth and expiry date of the passport (for foreign applicants).
    4.4 1 one-inch portrait photo.
    4.5 A copy of a name change document (if applicable).
  5. Statement of purpose stating a purpose of applying to the course and a career goal with approximately 100-150 words length.
  6. Application Process
    6.1 Download an application form.
    6.2 Pay 850 Baht for application fee by transferring to Siam Commercial Bank, Siriraj Branch,
          Account Name “Mahidol University”, Account Number “016-300325-6” or to Bangkok Bank, Bangkoknoi Branch, Account Name “Mahidol University”, Account Number “1190706752”. Please note that fee refund is not possible in any circumstances.
    6.3 Submit the application form, documents required and a copy of application fee deposit slip (according to item 4) as follows:

  8. Examination Process and Admission Selection Criteria
    Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies will process the examination according to the following criteria.
    8.1 Considering the number of credits of foundation and additional courses from the specified subject areas – accounted for 70 percent.
    8.2 Statement of purpose stating a purpose of applying to the course and a career goal with approximately 100-150 words length – accounted for 30 percent.
    Furthermore, the decision of students selection to the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University of the students selection to Mahidol University committee is final.
