14 March, 2025, Ms. Sawanya Saetae, a member of the "MU-NU Spring Training Program 2025" project team, led undergraduate students from the Faculty of Environmental Science, Nagasaki University, Japan, on a study tour on air quality monitoring and air quality management, including the management of particulate matter not exceeding 2.5 microns, at the Pollution Control Department. They were honored to be addressed by Mr. Teerapong Wimonjitranon, Director of the Air Quality and Noise Management Division; Dr. Sakda Tridech, Director of the Air Quality Innovation Section; and Mr. Sarawut Phai Bong, Senior Environmental Specialist, who also served as instructors for the session.

At 1:00 PM, the student group proceeded to the Department of Climate Change and Environmental Affairs for a study session on research knowledge from experts in various fields such as climate change, biodiversity, water resources, air resources, and soil resources, with Ms. Nareerat Phanmanee, Director of the Climate Change and Environment Research Center, delivering a welcoming speech.

This study tour was part of the "MU-NU Spring Training Program 2025," a collaborative project between Mahidol University, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and Nagasaki University, Japan.

On March 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, along with the faculty’s executive team, warmly welcomed the delegation from the University of Bremen, Germany. The delegation was led by Dr. Mandy Boehnke, Vice President for International Affairs, Academic Qualification, and Diversity, and Professor Dr. Michal Kucera, Vice President for Research and Transfer.
The visit aimed to explore academic collaboration between the two institutions. During the meeting, both parties exchanged insights on their academic operations and areas of expertise, particularly in environmental science, natural sciences, and sustainability. Discussions also focused on potential areas of future collaboration, including student and staff exchanges, internship programs and academic data sharing and joint research development.
The meeting was held at the Debhanom Muangman Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, with coordination support from the International Relations Division of Mahidol University.

On March 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean, along with faculty members, hosted a follow-up meeting on the development of the Carbon Neutrality Campus (CNC) online course. The meeting brought together experts from the regional network to discuss the course structure, content, target audience, and expected learning outcomes. Additionally, discussions included plans for co-organizing parallel sessions on sustainability as part of the "ESG for Climate Actions International Summit ESG Xchange 2025", hosted by the World Green Organisation (WGO) from May 6–7, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Hong Kong.

The meeting took place at the Debhanom Muangman Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, and virtually via Microsoft Teams. The session featured participation from leading international academic institutions and organizations, including Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China), Nagasaki University (Japan), Ton Duc Thang University (Vietnam), Merdeka University Malang (Indonesia), Institut Teknologi Nasional Malang (Indonesia), Universiti Malaya (Malaysia), Mariano Marcos State University (Philippines), and Universiti Teknologi Brunei (Brunei Darussalam).

This meeting is a key initiative under the “Carbon Neutrality Campus” project, an international collaboration for academic exchange and the development of a joint unit on carbon neutrality in partnership with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and UNESCAP. The project primarily aims to disseminate knowledge on carbon neutrality and equip educational institutions with essential knowledge and skills to achieve carbon neutrality and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.

6 March, 2025, at 1:30 PM, Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, welcomed and attended a special lecture titled "Upcycling waste biomass to single-cell ecofeeds using engineered Halomonas elongata cell factories.", delivered by Professor Dr. Hideki NAKAYAMA from the Faculty of Environmental Science, Graduate School of Fisheries and Environmental Sciences, Graduate School of Integrated Science and Technology, Institute of Integrated Science and Technology, Nagasaki University, Japan. The event was attended by faculty members, international experts, and students enrolled in the ENEN 332 Environmental Impact Assessment course, Bachelor of Science Program in Environmental Science and Technology, 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies. The lecture took place in Lecture Room 4129, Environmental Development Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

28 February, 2025, 09:00 AM, Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean, along with the faculty management, professors, and international experts of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, convened a meeting with Mr. Nick Au Yong, Senior ESG Manager, World Green Organisation (WGO). The purpose was to discuss strategies and formats for involving academic staff of the faculty, alongside the network of sustainability experts, in co-organizing Parallel Sessions on the topic 'Carbon Neutrality Campus', a collaborative project involves Mahidol University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and UNESCAP for academic exchange and institutional development in carbon neutrality with the objectives gathering knowledge and disseminating best practices in carbon neutrality, as well as promoting Thai educational institutions to achieve carbon neutrality and net greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
This Parallel Sessions meeting will be part of the 'ESG for Climate Actions International Summit ESG Xchange 2025' organized by the World Green Organisation (WGO), scheduled for May 6-7, 2568, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, China. The summit focuses on ESG standards (Environment, Social, and Governance), carbon neutrality, and sustainability. Leaders of organizations, academics, and representatives from both public and private sectors, as well as international environmental experts, will participate to showcase best practices in ESG, sustainable supply chain management, carbon credit trading, and organizational carbon neutrality strategies.
