Discussion meeting on academic cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

30 October, 2024, 09.00 – 11.30 hrs., Associate Professor Dr. Noppol Arunrat, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services at the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, recently met with Associate Professor Dr. Siwanon Jirawatnotai, Lecturer Dr. Lucksamon Thamlikitkul from the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Professor Dr. Hsuan-Yu Chen, a Research Fellow at the Institute of Statistical Science, and Dr. Shih-Yu Lee, an Associate Research Fellow at the Research Center for Environmental Changes, Academia Sinica in the Republic of China (Taiwan). The meeting aimed to exchange research insights and personnel expertise while exploring opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle public health issues, particularly the links between air pollution and various health conditions, including heat stress and pulmonary diseases.
The meeting was held in Meeting Room 303 of the His Majesty the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Building (SiMR) at Siriraj Hospital. This event was part of a visit by representatives from various departments of Academia Sinica, Republic of China (Taiwan), including the Institute of Chemistry, the Institute of Statistical Science, and the Research Center for Environmental Changes.
