MU-NU Spring Training Program 2025: Study Visit to Pollution Control Department and Department of Climate Change and Environment

14 March, 2025, Ms. Sawanya Saetae, a member of the "MU-NU Spring Training Program 2025" project team, led undergraduate students from the Faculty of Environmental Science, Nagasaki University, Japan, on a study tour on air quality monitoring and air quality management, including the management of particulate matter not exceeding 2.5 microns, at the Pollution Control Department. They were honored to be addressed by Mr. Teerapong Wimonjitranon, Director of the Air Quality and Noise Management Division; Dr. Sakda Tridech, Director of the Air Quality Innovation Section; and Mr. Sarawut Phai Bong, Senior Environmental Specialist, who also served as instructors for the session.

At 1:00 PM, the student group proceeded to the Department of Climate Change and Environmental Affairs for a study session on research knowledge from experts in various fields such as climate change, biodiversity, water resources, air resources, and soil resources, with Ms. Nareerat Phanmanee, Director of the Climate Change and Environment Research Center, delivering a welcoming speech.

This study tour was part of the "MU-NU Spring Training Program 2025," a collaborative project between Mahidol University, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, and Nagasaki University, Japan.
