The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, proudly congratulates its students on their outstanding achievement as members of Team Appamada, which won the First Runner-Up Award at the “MUICT & THE MALL Hackathon 2026: Smart Retail Solutions for a Sustainable Future.”
The competition was jointly organized by the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), and THE MALL GROUP on October 14, 2026, at Mahidol University, Salaya Campus.
Team Appamada consisted of the following members:

Bachelor of Science Program in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (International Program)

The competition brought together 30 participating teams, of which 13 advanced to the final round.
The hackathon focused on developing innovative solutions for sustainable retail businesses by integrating digital technologies with environmental sustainability principles, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations, and Net Zero concepts.
The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies extends its congratulations to all participating students for their remarkable achievement and their ability to integrate knowledge from different disciplines to develop innovative solutions that contribute to sustainable development.
