August 21, 2026 — The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, organized “ENVI Sport Day,” a sports and relationship-building event among the executive networks of environmental education institutions. The event was held at the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Nakhon Pathom Province. Assistant Professor Dr. Aran Srirattana Tabucanon, Deputy Dean for Education and International Relations, delivered the opening remarks.
The event was organized through the collaboration of a network of environmental education institutions that share a common mission to produce graduates and advance academic activities, research, and academic services in the fields of environmental studies, natural resources, and related disciplines. The network also places strong emphasis on building and strengthening long-term institutional partnerships, creating opportunities for students, faculty members, and staff to exchange knowledge and develop academic collaborations.
The collaborative network comprises five institutions and six faculties, namely the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University; the Faculty of Environmental Culture and Ecotourism, Srinakharinwirot University; the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahasarakham University; the Faculty of Environmental Management, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus; the Faculty of Technology and Environment, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus; and the Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Naresuan University. This year, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, was assigned to host the event.
The event featured a range of sports and recreational activities designed to foster connections among students, faculty members, and staff from the participating institutions. Activities included traditional and fun games, tug-of-war, and musical chairs, as well as a football competition held at the Mahidol University Sports Center in Salaya. The event concluded with an awards ceremony and a communal meal.
The “ENVI Sport Day” represents another important mechanism for strengthening relationships and collaboration among environmental education institutions. It provides a platform for students and staff to exchange knowledge, build familiarity, and further develop collaborative networks in an atmosphere of friendship, unity, and teamwork. Such connections will help foster continued collaboration in education, academic activities, research, and academic services in the environmental field in the future.
