On August 27, 2026, Dr. Narin Boontanon, Chair of the Master of Science Program in Environmental Management and Environmental Technology (International Program) (MT), together with Assistant Professor Dr. Kamalaporn Kanongdate and Lecturer Dr. Veenarat Akaraputinat, lecturers from the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, welcomed Dr. Nurashikin Suhaili, Deputy Dean for Postgraduate Studies, along with a delegation from the Faculty of Resource Science & Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), consisting of Dr Siti Nurbaidzuri Reli (Master in Environmental Science Coordinator), Dr Lau Lik Ming (MSc in Sustainable Aquaculture Coordinator), Dr Madinah Adrus (Zoological Technology Coordinator)on the occasion of their visit to the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, for the “Universiti Malaysia Sarawak Benchmarking Visit Program.”
The visit was held at Conference Room 1103, 2nd Floor, Building 1, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.
The benchmarking visit aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices in postgraduate education, as well as to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions. The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, presented an overview of the Faculty, its academic programs, research strengths, strategic directions, and international collaborations, along with an overview of the Master of Science Program in Environmental Management and Environmental Technology (International Program) (MT).
The program also included an exchange of information on teaching and learning management, student development, research and external engagement, internationalization and graduate employability, as well as quality assurance and continuous improvement in education.
