On 28 April 2026, the President of Mahidol University presided over the opening ceremony of the 10th “Safety Day Smart & Safe Together” event. Assistant Professor Dr. Ittichot Chakrapaiwong, Vice President for Physical and Environmental Affairs, delivered a report on the University’s performance in safety, occupational health, and working environment management, along with presenting the operational guidelines for safety management for the year 2026.
The event was organized by the Center for Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Management (COSHEM), Mahidol University, with the objective of raising awareness among personnel and staff regarding workplace safety and reinforcing continuous compliance with institutional safety policies in accordance with legal requirements and international standards.
On this occasion, the Assistant Dean for Administration, together with staff from the Physical and Facilities Unit, represented the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies in attending the event. The Faculty was honored for the second consecutive year with an Outstanding Award in the Safe Educational Institution Program for 2025. It also received a certificate of achievement for meeting the MU Safety Standard at the Excellence level, along with a symbolic safety award.
These recognitions reflect the Faculty’s strong commitment to maintaining high safety standards and preparedness in effectively responding to unexpected situations within the organization. The event was held at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University.
