Assistant to the Dean for Administration, and Assistant Professor Dr. Piangjai Peerakiatkhajohn, Director of Bachelor of Science Program in Natural Resources and Environmental Management (International Program), Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, received a delegation of executives from the University of Alberta, Canada, that included Dr. Cen Huang, the University of Alberta's Vice-Provost & Associate Vice-President International, Dr. Amit Kumar, Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Deputy Director of Future Energy Systems, and Dr. Sandeep Agrawal, Professor in Earth & Atmospheric Sciences and Director of the Alberta Land Institute. The visit aimed to discuss potential collaborations under the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), such as implementing visiting student activities and joint academic initiatives under international cooperation projects for academic exchange and development, such as a joint unit for "Carbon Neutrality Campus" and the Climate Change and Net Zero Platform of the faculty. Additionally, the possibility for academic staff from both institutions to develop research based on the expertise and shared interests of their academic personnel was also discussed. The meeting was held at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.
