ENVI Mahidol Opens International Training on “Human Responses to Climate Change: Mitigation and Adaptation”

3 December 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, delivered welcome remarks to participants of the international training program titled “Human Responses to Climate Change: Mitigation and Adaptation.” The program is conducted from 3–21 December 2025. Mr. Grisada Phakakarn, Director of Human Resources Development Cooperation Division, Thailand International Coopertion Agency (TICA), also gave opening remarks. The training aims to enhance participants’ understanding of the interconnections and mutual influences between the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate change actions, with an emphasis on applying knowledge for climate change adaptation and mitigation in Thailand. A total of 19 representatives from environmental agencies across government and private sectors from various countries around the world are participating in the program. The training is supported by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA). Assistant Professor Dr. Allan Sriratana Tabucanon, Deputy Dean for Education and International Relations, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, serves as the Training Director.
