ENVI Mahidol, in collaboration with PTT OR, Hosts FB Live to Enhance Knowledge on Technology for Addressing Climate Change

22 January 2026, from 6.00–6.35 PM, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, in collaboration with PTT Oil and Retail Business – OR (PTT OR), organized a live broadcast via Facebook Live under the theme “Technology for Addressing Climate Change.”

The session was honored by the participation of Associate Professor Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, faculty member and Advisor for Education and International Relations, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Allan Sriratana Tabucanon, Deputy Dean for Education and International Relations, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University. The speakers jointly shared insights and exchanged perspectives on key issues related to climate change.

The discussion covered an overview of the global climate change situation, climate change challenges in the ASEAN region, and the importance and role of climate-related technologies in mitigating environmental impacts. In addition, examples of innovative climate-related technologies from various countries were presented as potential approaches for future application.

Furthermore, the speakers reflected on the integration of climate-related technology issues as a core theme for youth participants under the OR Seeding project, encouraging them to think critically, analyze, and develop project concepts. The session also provided an opportunity for audience engagement through a close and interactive question-and-answer (Q&A) segment.

This activity was organized as part of the OR Seeding project with the objective of enhancing knowledge and understanding, as well as serving as a platform for exchanging perspectives on climate change issues and the crucial role of climate-related technologies in achieving sustainable solutions. The event was broadcast live from the G Village studio in Bangkok.
