Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Allan Sriratana Tabucanon and Dr. Jakkapon Phanthuwongpakdee, in collaboration with representatives from the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council and the Sustainable University Network of Thailand (SUN Thailand), participated in the opening ceremony of the international academic conference “ESG Xchange 2025: ESG for Climate Actions International Summit.”
The conference focused on key topics related to ESG standards (Environment, Social, and Governance), carbon neutrality, and sustainability. It brought together organizational leaders, academics, and representatives from government and private sectors, as well as international institutions with expertise in environmental issues, to share best practices on ESG-related topics, including sustainable supply chain management, carbon credit trading, and corporate carbon neutrality strategies.
The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, was honored to co-host a breakout session titled “Carbon Neutrality Campus” under the ESG Xchange 2025: ESG for Climate Actions International Summit, in collaboration with the World Green Organization (WGO) and several other leading institutions. This international conference was held under the main theme "Sustainability, ESG and Carbon Neutrality" from 6–7 May 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.
In the afternoon, the participating delegation visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to explore the concept of a “Sustainable Smart Campus as a Living Lab” and learn about the university’s roadmap toward Net-Zero.
