6 June 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies at Mahidol University organized the "Expert Meeting on the 'Carbon Neutrality Campus' Project." The event was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Napharenu Sajjarak Teerathiti, Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communications, and Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Chamondusit, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, who opened the meeting. Following this, Lecturer Dr. Praewa Wongburi, Assistant Dean for Policy and Planning and International Relations, presented an overview of the “Carbon Neutrality Campus” project and conducted the meeting.
This meeting served as a forum to gather opinions and suggestions from experts to compile knowledge and set the direction for operations, as well as outline the nature of activities under the international cooperation project for academic exchange and development of the Joint Unit on “Carbon Neutrality Campus.” The meeting included:

The meeting was held to provide suggestions for the next steps of the project, such as collecting and disseminating knowledge about carbon neutrality, managing seminars, and conducting training to develop knowledge and skills. This aims to help Thai higher education institutions achieve carbon neutrality and net zero greenhouse gas emissions, driving them towards the goal of becoming sustainable eco-universities in the future. The meeting took place in Meeting Room 1103, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.
