ENVI Mahidol launched the “Teacher’s Guide for the Carbon Neutrality Curriculum”

June 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. — The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Dean of the Faculty, launched the “Teacher’s Guide for the Carbon Neutrality Curriculum” under the Carbon Neutrality Campus (CNC) Project. This project is a collaboration between the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies at Mahidol University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).

The project aims to promote education on greenhouse gas reduction and carbon neutrality at the secondary school level through practical approaches that support hands-on learning, tailored to the students' context. It also seeks to foster knowledge exchange among network schools and expand into long-term collaboration.

Secondary school teachers from the Carbon Neutrality Campus network attended the guide’s launch and received copies to apply in their schools’ teaching practices. The event was held in Room 4224, Pattamandon Environment Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

This activity was part of the “ENVI Mahidol Open House World Environment Day” event, organized in celebration of World Environment Day, observed annually on June 5. The event aimed to raise environmental awareness, enhance knowledge, and encourage participation from all sectors in sustainable environmental stewardship.
