On 25 May 2026, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University under the Carbon Neutrality Campus (CNC) initiative convened the “CNC Expert Coordination Meeting 2026” with members of its growing international partner network, including representatives from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Merdeka University Malang, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Universiti Teknologi Brunei, as well as the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), to discuss the organization and expert coordination for the upcoming International Carbon Neutrality Expert Course 2026.
The meeting focused on availability mapping and the alignment of international experts with the 3-day technical program schedule, while also strengthening regional academic collaboration toward advancing carbon neutrality and sustainable campus development across Asia.
The International Carbon Neutrality Campus (CNC) Course 2026, themed “Bridging Theory and Action for a Net-Zero Future,” will be held online via Zoom from 23–25 June 2026, from 13:00–17:00 (GMT+7). The intensive 3-day program is designed to empower undergraduate student leaders with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in climate policy, carbon calculations, and campus sustainability action planning. Through expert-led policy discussions and interactive technical workshops, participants will gain real-world experience in transforming carbon neutrality concepts into actionable strategies for sustainable campuses and communities.
The course serves as an international learning platform that connects students, academics, and sustainability experts across the region to collaboratively drive innovative solutions for a net-zero future.
