Doctor of Philosophy (Environment and Resource Studies)

Highlight: Focus on the research, with no courses offered. The program requires students to be modern research experts in environment and resources science, able to learn independently, creatively, morally, have wide vision, can work both independently and with a team, be a leader in environmental science, able to integrate the overall knowledge of the environmental system and produce innovative products for the benefit of sustainable development.

The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Environment and Resource Studies, the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University has hosted the 1st International PhD Students Conference on Environment on Thursday, 23rd May, 2019 at Meeting Room 4226, 2nd Floor, Badhanatala Environment Building which cooperated with other four PhD programs from


- Environmental Technology, Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University
- Environment, Development and Sustainability, Chulalongkorn University
- Hazardous Substance and Environmental Management, Chulalongkorn University
- Environmental Technology, The Joint Graduate School of Energy and Environment, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi.


The conference has been organized for the first time with the purposes of enabling all the affiliated PhD students to process, analyze, synthesize, and finally present their research findings in an academic conference, as a central platform for discussion and exchange of knowledge and academic experience among the students and the professors from the associated institutions. Additionally, this remarkable academic event could also be an excellent platform for the affiliated professors, and relevant researchers to exchange their views and strengthen concrete cooperation in the field of doctoral education.
