Prof. Dr. Rattanawat Chaiyarat, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, together with Program Director, Faculty Members, Section Heads, and Staff, participated in the presentation of the results and the closing session of the AUN-QA Assessment of the Master of Science Programme in Environmental Management and Technology (International Programme), at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room (1103).

Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean, together with Program Director, Faculty Members, Section Heads, and Staff, received a group of AUN-QA Assessors and participated in the presentation of the objectives for the assessment based on the AUN-QA criteria of the Master of Science Programme in Environmental Management and Technology (International Programme) (MT/MTS), at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room (1103).

10 May 19, at 13.00 hrs., Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, organized the Assistant Professor Dr. Thanakorn Uan-On Commemorative Speech Day, Special Talk and Special Panel Discussion 2019, in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Kavee Kriravee, the event chairman, gave a report, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jackrit Suthakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, delivered the commemorative speeches. The event also featured a special talk entitled “The Prelude to the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University”, given by Dr. Poonpit Amatyakul, M.D, Advisor to Ratchasuda College, Committee and Secretary of Ratchasuda Foundation, followed by a special panel discussion on “A Continuation of Environmental and Engineering Work”, participated by Asst. Prof. Kasem Kulpradit, Asst. Prof. Werachart Muttiranon, Asst. Prof. Dr. Waressara Weerawat, and Dr. Romanee Thongdara, as panelists, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kavee Kriravee, as a moderator, at Assistant Professor Dr. Thanakorn Uan-On Auditorium, (Room 6450), 4th Floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.

10 May 19, 09.30 - 12.00 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Acting Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Development, Asst. Prof. Dr. Auempron Mutchimwong, Acting Vice President for Finance of Mahidol University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sura Pattanakiat, Deputy Dean for Research Administration, Academic Services and Information Technology, together with the Academic and the Supporting Staff of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, attended a meeting on making the recommendations for a research project on PM2.5, at Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

22 Apr 19, 10 a.m., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, together with academic and support staff, attended the opening ceremony and gave the project objective report for the Environmental School of Provincial Administrative Organization, Samut Sakhon Project, Batch 12. The training is scheduled to be held during 22 April – 10 May 2019, at Provincial Administrative Organization, Samut Sakhon.

18 Apr 19, at 08.30 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean, presided over and gave an opening speech at the 2019 Songkran celebration event, that consisted of alms giving, Buddha image water sprinkle, and a pouring water on the hands of revered Ajarns and asking for their blessing ceremony, which was honored by the presence of Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting President of Mahidol University, Assoc. Prof. (Special) Manu Srikhajon, Ajarn Jirasak Poonpol, Asst. Prof. Gritsanaruck Theerarat, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Charlie Navanugraha, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usanee Uyasatian, Assco. Prof. Dr. Sansanee Chuwaew, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungjarat Hutacharoen, after which the presentations of the scholarships for the faculty staff’s children as well as Thai traditional games were held at the lobby in front of Nart Tuntawiroon Meeting Room, and the Green Square courtyard, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

5 Apr 19, at 13.30 hrs., Asst. Prof. Dr. Auempron Mutchimwong, Vice President for Finance of Mahidol University, gave a closing speech and gave certificates to the students participating in  the Mahidol University’s Youth Environmental Training “Happiness and Sustainable Environment”, in which Dr. Werachat Chatpanyacharoen, Assistant Dean for Human Resource and the training project chairperson, also gave the project achievement report at Theater Room 4224, 2nd Floor, Badhanatala Environment Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies.

Today 29 Mar 19, at 10.00 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, attended the signing ceremony of the collaborative partnership declaration on Thai soil (Thai Soil Partnership: TSP), at the invitation of World Soil Association, at Meeting Room 801, Land Development Department. The signing ceremony of this declaration is a consequence of Thailand’s participation as a member in Asian Soil Partnership (ASP), along with another 24 country members in Asia, with the purpose of establishing a guideline for soil resource management for its sustainable utilization with the aim of eradicating hunger by 2030, which led to an establishment of the Thai Soil Partnership. The signatories of the collaborative partnership declaration on Thai soil consist of the groups of persons from 7 main sectors with an important role in soil management and utilization that are government, private, public, religious, mass media, academic and people sectors, with Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University as a main organization in support of the information linkage and collaboration as well as an exchange of knowledge among the sectors, which will lead to a sustainable soil management.

21 Mar 19, 09.00 hrs., Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean, delivered an opening speech at “The 6th Satra Methee Dr. Pongpit Piyapong Commemorative Speech Day”. The event consisted of  a presentation ceremony of Satra Methee Dr. Pongpit Piyapong Educational Support Fund for the faculty’s students by Dr. Metta Piyapong, M.D., and a special panel discussion entitled “Can the New Waters Act Solve Thailand’s Water Crisis?”, attended by Mr. Harnnarong Yaowalert, a member of National Reform Council (NRC) and ad hoc committee on Water Resource Act, Mr. Manas Kamnerdmanee, Deputy Director General for Administration, Royal Irrigation Department, Lect. Sanchai Sutipanwihan, a member of Health Impact Assessment Commission ,and hosted by Assistant Lecturer Pattrawut Pusingha, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies. The event was organized at Satra Methee Dr. Pongpit Piyapong Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Badhanatala Environment Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

14 Mar 19, at 09.00 hrs., Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting President of Mahidol University, delivered an opening speech and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, gave a report, at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Office of the Administrative Courts and Mahidiol University, together with the memorandum of understanding on the certificate training program on Sustainable Environmental Management and Environmental Conflict Resolution for High-Level Executives, attended by Mr. Atichoke Pholdee, Deputy Secretary - General, Acting Secretary – General of the Office of the Administrative Courts and Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Acting President of Mahidol University, as signatories, as well as Mr. Bunyai Nakyod, Deputy Secretary General of Office of the Administrative Courts and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean of Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, as witnesses, which was followed by an academic forum”, held by Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, at 10.00 hrs., on “A Lesson Learned from the Environment Related Case, Episode: PM2.5 Precedent, attended by Mr. Sumet Roygulchareon, President of the Budgetary and Financial Discipline Division, Supreme Administrative Court, Mrs. Maneewon Phromnoi, President of a Chamber of the Supreme Administrative Court, Mr. Korasit Pakchotanon, Former Governor of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), Asst. Prof. Dr. Auempron Mutchimwong, Acting Vice President for Finance of Mahidol University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Summon Chomchai, from Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, with Dr. Wisanu Tuntawiroon, as Moderator, at Theater Room 4224, 2nd Floor, Badhanatala Environment Building, Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University.

On 6 March 2019, at 8.00 a.m., Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., the President of Mahidol University, presided over and presented awards, with Assoc. Prof. Thanya Subhadrabandhu, M.D., Acting Vice President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kampanad Bhaktikul, Dean, giving reports in the award presentation ceremony, following the Line stickers creation competition on the topic “Save the Environment and Resources Together” at the VIP reception room on the 5th floor of the Office of President. The project was established by the faculty of Environment and Resource Studies and its alumni association in order to reinforce knowledge and understanding as well as cultivating awareness on environment and resources conservation.  The winners are as follows.
